Dusty was a very unique breed; pure mutt. The Humane Society labled him a German Shepard/Lab mix but with his coloring, purple tongue and crazy high jumping skills we knew he had a little bit of the coolest dogs ever in him!

He loved playing soccer, chasing squirrels and taking dips in the local pond. Dusty was always there for each and every member of our family at different times. Personally he got he got me thru recovering a septoplasty and breaking up with my first love. No matter what time any of us walked thru that back door we knew Dusty was going to greet us. He loved Christmas and opening his stocking filled with pig ears. One year he even opened some of our present instead of just his own! Though he ate my Easter basket, Mom's fresh loaves of zucchini bread and God knows whats else, we didn't mind once we saw those big puppy eyes! We always had a good laugh from all of Dusty's shenanigans.
Unfortunately Dusty didn't keep a sound mind with age and grew quite nervous and anxious. He lost his vision, fur and more importantly that personality that was one of a kind.
If you ever think of getting a dog PLEASE consider adopting from your local Humane Society; not only are you giving a very deserving animal a home but you'll have a dog that is forever grateful to you.
R.I.P. Dusty! We miss you very much!
