The air is cold
The beat not bold
My lovely chaser is not here
How do I jump the mound
He is gone-My hound
The air is cold
The beat not bold
My lovely chaser is not here
How do I jump the mound
He is gone-My hound
It`s been six of my twelve a friend
A breath says his presence
A supine his innocence
It`s been six of my twelve a treasure
A wag says his pleasure
A lick his overture
It`s been six of my twelve a sight
A wink says caution
A walk motion
Today the wind is still
My friend is gone
My treasure is torn
My sight forlorn
