Our sweet Daisy was a wonderful girl. She wasn't just a dog, she was a part of our family - "my little girl". Daisy was sometimes a bit shy, but after a few minutes she was everyone's friend. She loved to be hugged, sit on your lap, and eat popcorn! We would "drop' some so she could eat with us, too.

She was the smallest of her litter, and definitely the cutest! She was as small as a beanie baby and grew to only about 15 pounds. I had always had a cat, and my hubby convinced me to get a dog. I was reluctant but learned immediately that this cute little miniature schnauzer was going to steal my heart.

She was happy and healthy until her last year. We spoiled her with toys, good food, and lots of love. We knew her time was short, but we wanted to spend as many moments together as we could.

I think that she lived to be 17 out of love for us. In fact, I asked her to live to see her 17th birthay. She did, and passed away 5 weeks later. It has been difficult, to say the least. We did have to have her put to sleep, but I believe that she would have passed on her own within a couple of days. She was so ill, and I believe that she understood.

Daisy lived a long life with a loving family. She was born on April 5, 1998 and lived until May 16, 2015. My last words to her were "I love you. I will always love you"

Yes - she can finally see, hear, and run. It will be a wonderful day when we will all see her again!

I love you, Daisy. Forever. <3
