My beautiful Siberian Husky Dakota, my baby girl was put to rest yesterday (June 3rd 2011) The hardest day ever. She was my best friend for 11 1/2 years. After months and months of watching her health deteriorate and her become more in pain, and uncomfortable I took her to the vets again to see what more they could do for her. Where I was told there was nothing more they could do for her that she was suffering and in pain. So I made the hardest decition of my life to put her out of suffering so she was no longer in pain. She was a rescue puppy from a puppy mill where she was beaten and abused and starved at such a young age. She had a really rough start to life, but rescued her and gave her a loving home where she became family and my baby girl. I am a better person for having her in my life. I am so lost without her, I miss her so much, she will be forever missed and loved and in my heart forever.
